PIANO RECITAL RAISES FUNDS FOR EACT

Toronto pianist Deepani de Alwis, a native-born Sri Lankan, dazzled an audience of classical music and jazz lovers with her brilliant solo renditions. Her benefit concert filled the British School auditorium, Colombo's newest theatre venue.

Two guest artists, Rohan de Lanerolle and Srimanthaka Senanayake from the all-male vocal group "The Revelations", also contributed their talents. They were fresh from their triumph at the World Choir Games in Austria, where their ensemble was judged "World Champion".
